    5MS-5 is a specific small molecule CD28 inhibitor, exhibits direct CD28 binding (MST KD=50.32 uM) and potent inhibition of CD28-B7 interactions with IC50 of 10.32 uM in cellular reporter assays.
    5MS-5 effectively inhibited CD28:B7-1 (CD80) interactions with IC50 of 22.4 uM in ELISA-based inhibition assays.
    5MS-5 inhibits T cell activation markers in tumor–PBMC co-culture,  suppresses CD28-dependent cyto-kine release.
