Arachidonyl trifluoromethyl ketone (AACOCF3) is an arachidonic acid analog and potent and selective, slow- and tight-binding inhibitor of cytosolic phospholipase A2 (cPLA2), inhibits the release of AA from calcium ionophore-challenged U937 cells (IC50= 8 uM) and from platelets (IC50=2 uM).
