ABHD6 inhibitor 22f is a potent, selective ABHD6 inhibitor with IC50 of 8.0 nM (hABHD6), does not inhibit hMGL and hFAAH.
ABHD6 inhibitor 22f inhibited only ABHD6 without significant inhibition of other serine hydrolases.
ABHD6 inhibitor 22f is selective for ABHD6 in the brain, since none of the other FP-reactive serine hydrolases in this tissue were inhibited.
ABHD6 inhibitor 22f exhibited the highest plasma and brain levels drug levels and estimated oral bioavailability.
ABHD6 inhibitor 22f attenuated the AMPA-induced glia activation and produced a dose-dependent retina neuroprotection in rats.
