Biological Activity

ACT-1002-4271 is a potent, selective dual EP2/EP4 antagonist with IC50 of 6 nM/3 nM for hEP2/hEP4 respectively in cAMP-based activity assays.
ACT-1002-4271 has no effect on hEP1 and hEP3, inhibits mouse EP2/EP4 receptors with IC50 of 22/3 nM.
ACT-1002-4271 not exhibit any cytotoxicity in a HepG2 cell-based in vitro assay (IC50 > 25 μM).
ACT-1002-4271 (100 mg/kg, BID, sc administration) has significant antitumor activity in EMT-6 mouse tumor model.
