AG1024 (Tyrphostin AG1024) is a specific IGF-1R inhibitor that inhibits IGF-1R autophosphorylation with IC50 of 7 uM.
AG1024 weakly blocks IR autophosphorylation with IC50 of 57 uM.
AG1024 also inhibits the receptor tyrosine kinase activity towards exogenous substrates (TKA) with IC50 of 18 μuM and 80 uM, respectively.
AG1024 down-regulates expression of Bcr-Abl and P-Akt, and up-regulates DNA-PKcs expression in UT7-9 and Ba/F3-p210 cells.
