Biological Activity
AH001 is a potent, specific inhibitor of RhoA signaling pathway by targeting the TRPV4-RhoA-RhoGDI1 axis, targets not only the RhoGDI1-RhoA complex, but also TRPV4.
AH001 significantly inhibits GSK1016790A-stimulated calcium influx.
AH001 inactivates RhoA by stabilizing the TRPV4-RhoA interaction and RhoGDI1-Rho A interaction.
AH001 relieves blood pressure in hypertension model of Ang II–induced mice.
AH001 relieves blood pressure in hypertension model of SHR rats.
AH001 attenuates smooth muscle contraction and phenotypic transformation, and effectively lowering blood pressure after both acute and chronic administration in hypertensive animal models.
