AM-2099 is a potent, selective inhibitor of voltage-gated sodium channel NaV1.7 with IC50 of 0.16 uM (hNaV1.7), with no actiivity against hNaV1.5.
AM-2099 exhibits good selectivity over a range of NaV isoforms.
AM-2099exhibits dose-dependent reduction of scratching behavior in a histamine-induced scratching model.
