AS-48 is a specific, small-molecule measles virus (MeV) entry inhibitor with IC50 of 0.6 uM agianst MV-KS.
AS-48 did not inhibit HPIV-2 and prevent membrane fusion induced by HIV type 1.
AS-48 demonstrated potency against a representative panel of primary MV strains with IC50 of 0.6-3.0 uM.
