A positive allosteric modulator of AMPAR; potentiates the iQA responses induced in Xenopus oocytes by rat brain mRNA in a reversible manner; enhances glutamate-evoked currents in whole-cell recordings; strongly reduces glutamate receptor desensitization; selectively prolongs the time course and increases the peak amplitude of fast synaptic currents.
