B022 is a potent, small-molecule inhibitor of NF-κB-inducing kinase (NIK) with Ki/IC50 of 4.2/15.1 nM, respectively.
B022 inhibited the NIK signaling pathway, including NIK-induced p100-to-p52 processing and inflammatory gene expression, both in vitro and in vivo.
B022 protected against not only NIK but also CCl4-induced liver inflammation and injury.
B022 prevents NIK- or H(2)O(2)-induced beta cell death and also reduces streptozotocin (STZ)-induced beta cell death.
