    Biological Activity

    BAY-6096 (BAY6096) is a potent, selective, and highly water-soluble adrenergic α2B antagonist with IC50 of 14 nM.
    BAY-6096 displays >350-fold selectivity over α1A, α2A and α2C.
    BAY-6096 shows high water-solublity (90 mg/mL), could be formulated in 0.9% NaCl solution showed no adsorption toward sterile filters and no instabilities upon heat steam sterilization.
    BAY-6096 dose-dependently reduced blood pressure increases in rats induced by an α2B agonist.
