BMS-986308 is a potent, selective inhibitor of renal outer medullary potassium (ROMK, Kir1.1, KCNJ1) channel with IC50 of 24 nM.
BMS-986308 displays no inhibitory potency against related inwardly rectifying potassium channels (Kir2.1, Kir2.3, Kir4.1, and Kir7.1), as well as an internal panel of 49 GPCRs, enzymes, and ion channels.
BMS-986308 demonstrated efficacy in the volume-loaded rat diuresis model as well as promising in vitro and in vivo profiles.
