BP1.3656B is a highly potent and selective histamine H3 receptor (H3R) inverse agonist/antagonist with IC50 of 0.38 nM.
BP1.3656B reverses histamine-induced inhibition of cAMP production in forskolin-treated CHO-K1 cells stably expressing the hH3R and of the histamine-induced calcium release in HEK-293 cells stably expressing the hH3R.
BP1.3656B reduced alcohol drinking and alcohol-seeking behavior in rodents.
