CC15009 is a potent, specific xanthine oxidoreductase (XOR) inhibitor, inhibits XOR-catalyzed uric acid synthesis in vitro with IC50 of 0.237 nM.
CC15009 significantly inhibited liver XOR activity with IC50 of 1.07 nM, inhibits liver xanthine oxidase (XO) and NAD+-dependent xanthine dehydrogenase (XDH) with IC50 of 1.9 nM and 1.06 nM respectively.
CC15009 1 mg/kg shows uric acid-lowering effect in XOR substrate-induced mouse models.
