CS27109 is a potent, selective thyroid hormone receptor-β (THR-β) agonist with AC50 value of 1.98 uM, 12.6-fold selectivity over THR-α.
CS27109 is about 10-fold more potent to activate THR-β than MGL3196 (Cat. PC-42920).
CS27109 (15 mg/kg) lessens liver steatosis in HFD rat model, also dose-dependently reduces liver inflammation.
CS27109 (15 mg/kg) mitigates steatohepatitis and hepatic fibrosis in WD + CCL4 mouse model.
