CYD-4-61 is a small molecule Bax activator, exhibits potent antiproliferative activity with IC50 of 0.07 uM against triple-negative breast cancer MDA-MB-231 and 0.06 uM against ER-positive breast cancer MCF-7 cell lines, respectively.
CYD-4-61 (1 uM) inhibits colony formation and induces apoptosis induction in breast cancer cells.
CYD-4-61 causes induction of active Bax protein to trigger the intrinsic apoptotic signaling pathway.
CYD-4-61 significantly suppressed breast cancer xenograft tumor growth in vivo.
CYD-4-61 potently inhibits tumor cell proliferation, induces apoptosis, and suppresses cancer stem cell-like properties, with enhanced activity in radiation-resistant gastric adenocarcinoma (GAC) cells.
