Biological Activity

Chrysosplenetin is an o-methylated flavonols isolated from the leaves of Laggera pterodonta with anti-cancer effect, shows strong activity in vitro against EV71 with IC50 of 0.2 uM, also shows neuraminidase inhibitory activity, inhibits topoisomerase I and II.
Chrysosplenetin inhibits proliferation MCF-7 with an IC50 value of 0.29 uM.
Chrysosplenetin inhibits artemisinin efflux in P-gp-over-expressing Caco-2 cells and reverses P-gp/MDR1 mRNA up-regulated expression induced by artemisinin in mouse small intestine.
Chrysosplenetin promotes osteoblastogenesis of bone marrow stromal cells via Wnt/beta-catenin pathway and enhances osteogenesis in estrogen deficiency-induced bone loss.
Chrysosplenetin induces TMED3 aggregation and triggers unfolded protein response (UPR) in pancreatic cancer, shows anti-pancreatic cancer (PC) activity.
