Biological Activity

D-AAP1 is a potent, selective, stereospecific activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis RNA polymerase (Mtb RNAP) with IC50 of 0.4 uM, shows poor inhibition of other bacterial RNAP and human RNAP I, II, and III.
D-AAP1 exhibits potent, selective, stereospecific activity against Mycobacteria (potent activity against Mtb, M. avium, and M. smegmatis, but poor activity against other bacterial and mammalian cells).
