Biological Activity
DAC-003 is a small molecule activator of HDAC1, exhibits dose-dependent activation of HDAC1 in vitro in a microfluidics-based assay at 5-10 uM, DAC-003 is protective against oxidative stress.
DAC-003 (10 uM) maintains deacetylation of key histones (H3K56, H4K12, H3K14) after 20 h in HEK293T cells, induces functional HDAC1 activation and prevention of Ac-H4K12 accumulation.
DAC-003 displays significant protection against DNA breaks.
