Biological Activity

DCY1020 is a potent, specific small molecule agonist of transmembrane protein 175 (TMEM175) with EC50 of 3.7 uM, binds to TMEM175 with SPR KD of 8.3 uM.
DCY1020 activates TMEM175 more effectively than DCPIB (Cat# PC-72941).
DCY1020 greatly enhances the amplitude of Cs+ and H+ current (85.3 ± 8.9-fold for Cs+ current and 88.4 ± 4.0-fold for H+ current at 30 μM) in whole-endolysosome patch-clamp recordings.
