DOI-NBOMe is a potent, selective and Gq-biased agonist of 5-HT2A receptor (5-HT2AR) with pEC50 of 8.01.
DOI-NBOMe shows no agonism to the primary signalling of other serotonin receptors, such as 5-HT1AR, 5-HT2BR and 5-HT2CR.
DOI-NBOMe (2 mg/kg) rapid and long-term antidepressant-like effects through activating 5-HT2AR, modulates freezing behaviour in corticosterone-induced depression-like mice.
