DXL-A-24 is a spirocyclopiperazinium salt compound with antinociceptive effect, alleviates neuropathic pain by inhibiting CGRP expression, inhibits CaMKIIα phosphorylation.
DXL-A-24 decreases the phosphorylation of CaMKIIα in the DRGs of CCI rats, inhibits the increase in CREB phosphorylation.
DXL-A-24 significantly inhibits nerve injury-induced hyperalgesia and the chemical-stimulated pain response in a dose-dependent manner.
DXL-A-24 is probably mediated by the activation of α7 nAChR and M4 mAChR.
