Diltiazem hydrochloride (CRD-401) is a postsynaptic muscle relaxant that inhibits Ca2+ ions release from sarcoplasmic reticulum stores, inhibits L-type voltage-dependent Ca2+ channels (L-VDCC).
Diltiazem hydrochloride (CRD-401) antagonizes ryanodine receptors (RyR).
Diltiazem hydrochloride (CRD-401) can prevent cell death in neural progenitor cells derived from Wolfram syndrome iPS cells.
