Biological Activity

ERDRP-0519 (ERDRP0519) is a specific, orally bioavailable small-molecule viral polymerase inhibitor (CDV/MeV polymerase IC50=0.4/0.6 uM), shows pan-morbillivirus inhibitory activity.
ERDRP-0519 displayed vitro efficacy against a panel of MeV isolates representing seven distinct, currently endemic genotypes with EC50 values of 0.07-0.3 uM.
ERDRP-0519 potently inhibited morbillivirus-derived polymerase complexes, does not inhibit a distant member of the paramyxovirus family, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
ERDRP-0519 demonstrated oral efficacy gainst pathogenic CDV in ferrets.
ERDRP-0519 inhibits all phosphodiester bond formation in both de novo initiation of RNA synthesis at the promoter and RNA elongation by a committed polymerase complex.
ERDRP-0519 prevents measles virus (MeV) infection in squirrel monkeys (Saimiri sciureus).
ERDRP-0519 inhibits feline coronavirus (FCoV) in vitro.
