Biological Activity

Eloralintide sodium (LY3841136) is a selective amylin mimetic and long acting amylin receptor (AMYR) agonist, binds to amylin receptors with high selectivity from calcitonin receptors.
Eloralintide (LY3841136) demonstrates prolonged plasma half-life and reduced clearance compared to cagrilintide.
Eloralintide (LY3841136) matched the food intake reductions of cagrilintide, resulting in a similar degree on body weight change, without the same degree of conditioned taste avoidance, in rats。
Eloralintide (LY3841136) lowered body weight primarily by loss of fat mass and with more potent effects for weight loss efficacy, food intake lowering, and fat mass reductions in DIO rats.
