Biological Activity

FT113 (FT-113) is a potent inhibitor of fatty acid synthase (FASN) with IC50 of 213 nM (hFASN).
FT113 showed anti-proliferative activity against prostate (PC3 cell line), breast (BT-474 cell line), and leukemia (MV-411 cell line, IC50=26 nM) cancer cells.
FT113 exhibited tumor growth inhibition of 32% and 50% by treatment with 25 and 50 mg/kg, respectively, increased malonyl-CoA levels in vivo.
