Fangchinoline is a natural bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloid isolated from Stephania tetrandra whtinin extensive biological activities, such as enhancing immunity, anti-inflammatory sterilization and anti-atherosclerosis, inhibits HIV-1 replication by impairing gp160 proteolytic processing, suppresses FAK-mediated signaling pathway in cancer cells which highly expressed FAK, enhances antigen cross-presentation in a DNGR-1 (CLEC9A)-dependent manner.
