Biological Activity

Fluazinam is a broad-spectrum, orally active fungicide and acaricide and potent uncoupler of oxidative phosphorylation.
Fluazinam targets mitochondrial complex I to induce reactive oxygen species-dependent cytotoxicity in SH-SY5Y cells.
Fluazinam binds with the ATP synthase subunit FfATPh but not with FfATP5 or FfATPb of Fusarium fujikuroi.
