Biological Activity

GPR119 agonist 21b is a potent, selective GPR119 agonist with EC50 of 3.8 nM (hGPR119).
GPR119 agonist 21b increased the GLP-1 secretion by approximately 1.7-fold at 10 μM and 1.8-fold at 30 μM, compared to a vehicle control, in NCI-H716 cell line.
GPR119 agonist 21b exhibits a significant reduction in body weight in a female diet-induced obese rat model, comparable to that of metformin.
