I2906 is a novel isocitrate lyase (ICL) inhibitor that displays showed excellent anti-Mycobacterium tuberculosisl activities and low cytotoxicity.
I2906 shows good activity against M. tuberculosis H37Ra with MIC of 0.5 ug/ml.
I2906 significantlt reduces bacterial loads of both lungs and spleen in a murine model.
