Biological Activity

IMB5046 is a novel nitrobenzoate microtubule inhibitor, inhibits tubulin polymerization and shows cytotoxicity against multidrug-resistant cell lines in vitro and in vivo.
IMB5046 displayed potent cytotoxicity against multiple tumor cell lines with IC50 of 37-426 nM.
IMB5046 is not a P-glycoprotein substrate.
IMB5046 blocked cell cycle at G2/M phase and induced cell apoptosis.
