Biological Activity

ISFP10 is a specific small molecule inhibitor of A. fumigatus phosphoglucomutase (AfPGM) with IC50 of 2 uM, 50-fold selectivity over the human PGM enzyme.
ISFP10 inhibits AfPGMC353 with IC50 of 4 uM, 50- and 25-fold higher IC50 values for HsPGM.
ISFP10 can also significantly reduce Pmpgm2 activity in vitro.
ISFP10 displays antifungal activity in a concentration-dependent manner against C. albicans and C. glabrata.
