Biological Activity

Ifenprodil tartrate is a potent, GluN2B-specific inhibitor NMDA receptor antagonist, specifically targets NR1A/NR2B receptors with IC50 of 0.34 uM, 400-fold selective over NR1A/NR2A receptors.
Ifenprodil tartrate also inhibits GIRK channels, and interacts with alpha1 adrenergic, serotonin, and sigma receptors.
