Biological Activity
JG-C3-98 is a selective and effective activator of K2P channels TASK-1 and TASK-3 with EC50 of 13 uM and 34 uM for hTASK-1 and hTASK-3, respectively.
JG-C3-98 shifts the cold threshold to lower temperatures and reduces the mechanical responses of primary sensory neurons in culture.
JG-C3-98 shifts the thermal threshold of cold thermoreceptor neurons from dorsal root ganglia to lower temperatures.
JG-C3-98 shifts the activation threshold of corneal cold thermoreceptor neurons to lower temperatures.
JG-C3-98 reduces the mechanical sensitivity and AITC-evoked responses in vivo, reduces cold allodynia in a model of neuropathic pain.
