Biological Activity

KTI-2338 is a potent, selective ALK2 (Activin A receptor type 1, ACVR1) inhibitor with IC50 of 3.6 nM, >75-fold selective over ALK5 and ALK1.
KTI-2338 decreases Activin A-stimulated pSMAD1/5/9 signaling in FOP fibroblasts.
KTI-2338 (223 nM) significantly reduces ID1 and ID2 expression in FOP fibroblasts.
KTI-2338 successfully reduces osteogenic gene expression in both fibroblasts and transdifferentiated osteoblast-like cells.
