Biological Activity

LY255283 is a selective, competitive antagonist of leukotriene B4 receptor (BLT2) with IC50 of 1 uM, 10-fold selective over BLT1 receptor.
LY255283 inhibits LTB4-induced contraction of lung parenchyma (pA2 = 7.2).
LY255283 reduces LTB4-mediated airway obstruction in guinea pigs following i.v. and oral administration.
