MBA-159 is a multitarget small molecule inhibitor of monoamine oxidases (MAOs) and cholinesterases (ChEs) with IC50 of 28.8 uM and 53.8 uM for hMAO-A and hAChE respectively, demonstrates anti-amnesic properties and significantly improved non-spatial memory in mouse model of scopolamine-induced amnesia.
