Biological Activity

MK-1925 is a selective, orally active, brain-penetrant opioid receptor-like 1 (ORL1, NOP receptor) antagonist with binding IC50 of 8.2 nM.
MK-1925 shows good selectivity over other opioid receptors and the hERG channel.
MK-1925 exhibits in vivo antagonist activity against the reduction in locomotor activity induced by ORL1 agonist in mice.
