ML133 (CID781301) is a potent, selective K(ir)2.1 potassium channel inhibitor with IC50 of 1.8 uM at pH 7.4 and 290 nM at pH 8.5, respectively.
ML133exhibits little selectivity against other members of Kir2.x family channels, but displays excellent selectivity over K(ir)1.1, K(ir)4.1 and K(ir)7.1.
ML133 dramatically reduces Ca2+ influx through Ca2+-release-activated Ca2+ (CRAC) channels.
