	ML67-33 is a low micromolar (EC50=9.7 uM, K2P2.1), selective activator of temperature- and mechano-sensitive K2P potassium channels.
	ML67-33 shows little or no activity against K2P5.1, K2P3.1, K2P9.1, K2P18.1 and Kv7.2 (>100 uM).
	ML67-33 reversibly increases channel currents by activating the extracellular selectivity filter-based C-type gate that forms the core gating apparatus on which a variety of diverse modulatory inputs converge.
	ML67-33 also is a potent activator of LyPAP and TMEM175-mediated H+ and K+ currents
