MMI-0100 is a cell-permeant peptide inhibitor of MAPKAP kinase 2 (MK2), inhibits MK2 and downstream fibrosis and inflammation.
MMI-0100 prevents vein graft intimal thickening ex vivo and in vivo.
MMI-0100 inhibits cardiac fibrosis in myocardial infarction by direct actions on cardiomyocytes and fibroblasts via MK2 inhibition.
MMI-0100 treatment reduced cardiac fibrosis, decreased cardiac hypertrophy, and prolonged survival in fibrotic cMyBPC40k disease mice model.
