Biological Activity

Magnoflorine iodide ((+)-Magnoflorine iodide) is a dietary alkaloid from Alpinia oxyphylla fruit within anxiolytics, anti-cancer, and anti-inflammatory properties, inhibits the activation of NF-κB and MAPK signaling pathways.
Magnoflorine alleviates dextran sulfate sodium-induced ulcerative colitis via inhibiting JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway.
Magnoflorine increases transforming growth factor β-induced factor 1 (TGIF1) transcriptional activity by promoting ubiquitination and degradation of KDM3A, thus inhibiting the activation of TGF-β1/Smad2/3 signaling.
Magnoflorine attenuates Ang II-induced cardiac remodeling via promoting AMPK-regulated autophagy.
