Midkine inhibitor (iMDK) is a small molecule inhibitor of the growth factor Midkine (MDK) that suppresses the endogenous expression of MDK but not other growth factors such as PTN or VEGF.
Midkine inhibitor (iMDK) inhibits the cell growth of MDK-positive H441 lung adenocarcinoma cells that harbor an oncogenic KRAS mutation and H520 squamous cell lung cancer cells, inhibits PI3K pathway and induces apoptosis.
Midkine inhibitor (iMDK) significantly inhibits tumor growth in a xenograft mouse model in vivo.
