NBI-35965 is a potent, selective antagonist of corticotropin-releasing factor 1 (CRF1) receptor with Ki of 4 nM, >1000-fold selective over CRF2.
NBI-35965 inhibits cAMP accumulation and adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) production in vitro with pIC50 values of 7.1 and 6.9 respectively.
NBI-35965 attenuates CRF and ACTH production in vivo.
NBI-35965 is orally active and brain penetrant with anxiolytic activity.
