    Biological Activity

    NIDDK/CEB-52 (Compound 52) is a potent and selective antagonist for TSH receptor (TSHR), inhibits TSH-mediated cAMP response of TSHR with IC50 of 4.2 uM.
    NIDDK/CEB-52 is selective toward TSHR when compared with the closely related LHCGR and FSHR.
    NIDDK/CEB-52 (10 and 30 uM) inhibits TSH stimulation of TPO mRNA expression in human thyrocytes.
    NIDDK/CEB-52 (30 uM) inhibits TSHR activation by thyroid-stimulating antibodies (TsAbs) from patients with Graves' disease.
