Oct4-activating compound 1 (OAC1) is a small molecule Oct4-activating compound, enhances the iPSC reprogramming efficiency and accelerates the reprogramming process.
OAC1 activates Oct4 and Nanog promoter-driven reporters in triplicate luciferase reporter assays, activates endogenous Oct4, Nanog, Sox2, and Tet1 expression.
OAC1 enhances reprogramming about fourfold at day 8 at 1 uM in iSF1 for the generation of mouse iPSCs.
