Ozenoxacin (T-3912) is a quinolone-class antibiotic inhibiting DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, shows potent antibacterial activity against anaerobic and aerobic, gram-positive and -negative bacteria, has demonstrates excellent in vitro activity against MRSA and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis (MRSE), including quinolone-resistant strains.
