PB131 is a potent, selective and brain-permeable HDAC6 inhibitor with IC50 of 1.8 nM, <100-fold selective over other HDAC isoforms.
PB131 does not show significant non-specific binding at 10 μM concentration in a panel of 58 CNS targets.
PB131 exhibits promising anti-neuroinflammation activity in the LPS-induced BV2 cells in vitro and LPS-induced animal model in vivo.
