    Biological Activity

    PCARBTP is a derivative, potent, specific Kv1.3 channel inhibitor, reduces cell viability and efficiently kills B16F10 cancer cells at 1 uM.
    PCARBTP does not inhibit Kv1.1 and Kv1.5, two related members of the Kv family.
    PCARBTP kills 98% of ex vivo primary chronic B-lymphocytic leukemia tumor cells while sparing healthy B cells.
    PCARBTP significantly reduces tumor size in orthotopic mouse models of melanoma and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
