Biological Activity
Pomstafori-1 is the cell-permeable prodrug of Stafori-1, inhibits STAT4 Tyr693 phosphorylation in NK-92 cell with IC50 of 3.3 uM, selectively inhibits STAT4 activation and IFN-γ induction in cultured human cells.
Pomstafori-1(25 uM) inhibits IL-12/IL-18-mediated STAT4 phosphorylation and IFN-γ induction in NK-92 cells
Pomstafori-1weakly inhibits phosphorylation of STAT3 in HCC-827 cells (IC50 = 19 µM), and STAT5a/5b-phosphorylation in K562 cells to alesser extent still (IC50 > 25 µM).
